LiF NOTES
Consistency Through Chaos
Strong. Fueled. Free.
Forward thinking for women building real strength.
RSVP: LiFT-HER OCT 3RD EVENT
Honor. Elevate. Rise.
LiFT Studio · 192nd & Giles, Gretna · Full address sent when you RSVP.
That's what LiFT-HER stands for. Honor where you've been. Elevate what you're building. Rise into what's next. This Saturday I get to be the hype girl for a whole room of women doing exactly that. Last spring, 50+ women came through the door.
More than 45 women and women-supporting businesses donated to make this day happen. That adds up to 4 prize bundles, 8 VIP swag bags, and goodies for the first 50 women through the door. That's community, and I don't take it lightly. My heart is so full.
Only 8 spots. When they're gone, they're gone. (2 spots left as of 9/29!)
- • A private VIP workout with me in the studio
- • First dibs with every vendor before the public doors open
- • A sweet VIP swag bag
Come and go. Stay ten minutes or stay all afternoon.
- • Charcuterie, NA drinks, and kombucha
- • Permanent jewelry, tiny tats, Botox
- • Headshots & social media strategy chats
- • Strength chats with me · LiF merch pop-up
The first 50 women get a goodie bag. Four prize bundles will be up for grabs.
What it costs: Nothing. There's no pitch, no pressure, and nothing you have to buy. Walk in, wander, talk to people, get your jewelry welded on, and leave feeling like yourself. You do not have to be a lifter. You do not have to be a client. You just have to come.
Bring a friend, especially the one who's been saying for a year that she needs to get back to it. This is the easiest door she'll ever walk through.
FROM ME, AS WE MOVE FORWARD TOGETHER
Hey friend,
Real talk: this week is chaos in the best way. There are raffle bundles on my dining table, signage on my to-do list, and a studio that needs to get ready for 100 women by Saturday morning.
And I still trained this week. Not perfectly and not for as long as I planned, but I trained.
That's October's whole message: consistency through chaos.
Most of us don't quit because we stop caring. We quit because life gets loud, the "perfect" plan stops fitting, and we decide that if we can't do it all, we'll do nothing. Then January shows up and we start over. Again.
I'm done with that cycle, and I want you done with it too.
Consistency doesn't mean the same workout every day. It means you don't disappear. It means a 20-minute walk instead of a walk instead of a lift all count. If your ceiling today is 70%, then 70% is your 100%.
Forward always counts.
And if you want to see what that looks like in a room full of women who get it, come see me Saturday. The door's open.
Strong. Fueled. Free.
Coach MegS
SIX YEARS IN. OFFICIALLY CELEBRATING. AND YOU'RE INVITED.
Wednesday, October 28 at 4:30 PM · The Candle House, Gretna
Some milestones deserve a moment. This is one of them.
On Wednesday, October 28 at 4:30 PM, LiVE iT FWD Coaching is hosting an official ribbon cutting with the Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce. We're celebrating at The Candle House in historic downtown Gretna, and I want you there.
Why The Candle House? LiVE iT FWD runs online and out of LiFT Studio, my private studio in my home. A private studio should stay private, so our friends at The Candle House are opening their doors to host us. (Local businesses supporting local businesses. That's the good stuff.)
What LiVE iT FWD is all about: I started LiVE iT FWD Coaching six years ago with one belief: women deserve strength, nutrition, and wellness that fits real life. That means no more diets, no more shame, and no more starting over.
I bring 25+ years of experience in fitness, nutrition, and behavior change. I coach women 35+, and I especially love working with women in perimenopause and menopause, because I'm right there with you. Truly, though, I coach women of all ages who are ready to feel strong, fueled, and free.
Here's how we train together:
• 100% Online. Personalized coaching and programming wherever you are.
• Hybrid. Online coaching plus in-person sessions with me at LiFT Studio, my private 1,400+ sq ft training space in Gretna.
Come celebrate with us:
🗓 Wednesday, October 28 · 🕟 4:30 PM
📍 The Candle House, 112 N McKenna Ave, Gretna, NE 68028
🧀 Charcuterie and non-alcoholic drinks provided (while supplies last!)
Bring a friend. Bring your energy. Come celebrate six years of women getting stronger and moving forward.
CONSISTENCY THROUGH CHAOS
92 days. Don't wait for January.
From the start of October, there are 92 days until January 1. That's 13 weeks. Thirteen weeks of workouts, meals, walks, and good-enough days. Or thirteen weeks of "I'll start after the holidays."
You already know which one feels better on January 1. Don't wait to start. Start now.
Your "Chaos Plan" (build it before you need it)
The reason women fall off in October and November isn't a lack of discipline. It's that they wait for a calm week to be consistent. Decide now what your minimum looks like, so when life gets loud you already know your move.
1. Your minimum workout.
20 minutes, 3–4 moves, and you're done. Write it down now.
2. Your default meal.
One go-to meal you can make half-asleep that hits protein on the plate. No decision fatigue.
3. Your non-negotiable.
Pick one thing that happens no matter what: a walk, water before coffee, or lights out on time.
TAKING A REP OFF
Taking a rep off this month.
This month's move is on pause while the studio gets ready for Saturday. (Consistency counts, but so does knowing when to plan. Support each other's wins and give each other some room.)
Be on the lookout next month. November's Strength Move is one your posture, your shoulders, and your upper back have been waiting for.
Until then, keep showing up for your minimum. That counts.
KEEP IT BORING ON BUSY WEEKS
When life gets busy, food choices are the first thing to go sideways. The fix isn't a better plan; it's fewer decisions.
- Anchor breakfast. Same protein-forward breakfast every weekday this month.
- Double dinner. Whatever you make for dinner, make twice as much. Tomorrow's lunch is handled.
- Stock your "grab" shelf. Keep a few protein-forward snacks where you'll actually see them, so the vending machine doesn't win at 3 PM.
Boring is a strategy. Boring gets you through October.
CLIENT LiF SPOTLIGHT

KASEY
LiF Core · Competitive Equestrian Show Jumper
Kasey jumps horses competitively. That's a sport where your strength and your confidence have to show up at the same time: on an animal that weighs over a thousand pounds.
When we first started, she told me she didn't have much muscle and didn't trust her own strength. Every week since, she's been proving that story wrong.
Q: What brought you to LiVE iT FWD?
"I was looking for a strong, supportive woman to help me learn how to get stronger and healthier. I'm a competitive equestrian show jumper, and I wanted to get stronger both in and out of the saddle!"
Q: What were you struggling with before you started?
"Not knowing how to start lifting heavier, and how to add weight safely without getting injured in the process."
Q: What were you hoping to change?
"I was hoping to find a support system that would help me feel confident, strong, and capable of achieving my goals."
Q: What's changed since you started?
"After just 3 months with Coach Meg, I already feel so much stronger both in and out of the saddle. My strength, mobility, and flexibility have improved drastically. I'm able to ride stronger and safer. I'm also just feeling better and more energized every day!"
Q: Your strength wins?
"I started telling Coach Meg I didn't have much muscle at all and had pretty low confidence in my strength. Every week, we keep knocking that down and replacing it with strength and confidence in my own capability."
Q: Your nutrition wins?
"In a world of constant diets, food fads, and hacks, I'm learning to return to the basics and focus on fueling my body. Right now I'm focused on hitting a protein goal that actually supports my progress in the gym. I wasn't eating anywhere near the protein I should have been, and I'm learning how important that step is."
Q: What surprised you most?
"That I can do more than I thought I could! I've learned to keep pushing the goal post further and further, and not to cut my potential short."
Q: What habit is finally sticking?
"Consistently strength training with Coach Meg, in person and at home, every week."
Remember those 92 days? Kasey said it better than I ever could:
"There is never an easy or convenient time, so just start now!"— Kasey Seery
Her LiVE iT FWD experience in one sentence: Life changing.
So proud of you, Kasey.
BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

THAT CRAFT MAMMA
Tina Andersen · Elkhorn / West Omaha
What started as Tina's stress relief is now a business that ends up in people's homes, gift bags, and team bags all over the metro.
You've already seen her work. Tina made the LiVE iT FWD trucker hats, the white tees, and more. She's been creative and amazing every step of the way.
What she makes: Personalized, handmade pieces for everyday life and the big moments. That includes wooden door signs and leaners, acrylic and wood keychains, bag tags, seasonal decor, teacher gifts, sports team items, and custom shirts and hats. If you have an idea, whether it's a sketch, a photo, or just "can you make something like...", she'll try it.
Q: Who she serves?
"Families, teachers, teams, small businesses, and anyone who wants something made just for them. She keeps it affordable."
Q: Why it matters to her:
"Tina is building this business so her kids can watch her do it. She wants them to see that passion, hard work, and a little creativity can turn something you love into something real."
Q: Her advice for you:
"Lead with grace. Everyone behind a small business has a whole life outside of it, and things don't always go to plan. Support each other's wins and give each other some room. We're not just building businesses; we're building relationships and communities."
"Lead with grace, create with passion, and remember that something you create with love can bring so much joy to someone else."— Tina Andersen
