JUNE'S LiF NOTES NEWSLETTER
Forward thinking for women building real strength.
A Forward Note: From me, as we move forward together
June is here, and I can already feel the shift. Summer usually brings a loosening of schedules, kids home, and that subtle pressure to be "everywhere" at once. I see so many women start to feel "off track" the moment their routine hits a speed bump.
But here is the truth: your progress isn't a fragile glass ornament that breaks the moment life gets busy. You aren't "starting over" just because your Tuesday looked different than you planned. You're simply recalibrating. Forward movement doesn't always mean high speed; sometimes it just means staying in the game while the rhythm changes.
Forward doesn't require perfect — just participation. You don't fall off; you just lose rhythm. And rhythm can be rebuilt.

THIS MONTH'S FOCUS
Back to Basics Without Starting Over
When life gets loud, we simplify. We don't drop the ball; we just shorten the field.
- ✦Behavior: Re-anchor your 3 non-negotiables. Whether it's 10 minutes of movement, hitting your protein goal, or 7 hours of sleep—pick three and protect them.
- ✦Mindset: You're not behind—you're adjusting. Give yourself the grace to pivot without the guilt of "failing."
- ✦Practical Reminder: Simplify your week BEFORE it starts. Look at your calendar on Sunday and decide then where your "wins" will happen.
STRENGTH MOVE OF THE MONTH
Dead Bug
Why it matters: Builds deep core strength, coordination, and control—the foundation for EVERYTHING else you do (lifting, posture, and protecting your back).
Coaching Cues:
- • Press your low back gently towards the floor (no over-arching!).
- • Move slow and controlled—think opposite arm/opposite leg.
- • Only go as far as you can without losing that core tension.
FUEL FORWARD
The "Build Your Plate Once" Strategy
The Rule:
Stop overthinking every meal. Pick a structure and repeat it.
Why it works:
Decision fatigue is real in the summer. When you have a go-to "formula" (Protein + Carb + Color), you save your brain power for the rest of your life.
Action Step:
Build a "repeatable" lunch this week. One protein, one veggie, one healthy starch. Eat it three days in the week or in a row. See how much better you feel when the "what's for lunch?" stress is gone.
LiF SPOTLIGHT

Stephanie
Business Owner & Strong Woman
There's something powerful about women who are quietly building, evolving, and showing up with purpose — and that's exactly why I wanted to feature Stephanie.
What's been your biggest win so far?
"I've loved fitness for years, but as mid-life hit—business ownership, kids, hormones, stress—it got harder to see results. Starting with Meghan has given me a trackable program where I can consistently see progress, even when it isn't obvious to me. I also love that I get to train with a business contact turned friend. Our sessions are a place for us to celebrate wins, grieve losses, and encourage each other in fitness, business, and life."
What feels different in your life since starting?
"Consistency. Never missing that first workout of the week really sets me up for success. Even if the week goes off the rails—and let's be honest, they often do—I'm always able to start my week with a 'win.' I'm able to show up for my kids and business with a stronger mindset."
What would you say to another woman who feels nervous?
"This program is so great for a timid or new gym-goer. Meg's private studio is perfect for those people who don't want the gym judgment, or the overwhelm of not knowing what to do, or how to do it. Let's be honest, I've spent years in the gym and still get intimidated by new moves, and this program eliminates that through both one-on-one coaching as well as the video demos in the app. There's never been shame around where we 'missed'; it's always about how we support ourselves through these seasons. LiVE iT FWD programs are so unlike any other 'trainer' I've worked with. Usually, check-ins focus on where you 'failed.' With MegS, she understands the reality of life. There's never been shame around where we 'missed'; it's always about how we support ourselves through these seasons."
BUSINESS FEATURE

The Challenge: Finding Your Voice
Courtney sees a common thread with women today: the struggle to be heard without being dismissed or judged—by spouses, doctors, or even other women. She is on a mission to help women rise together, believing that when we stop putting others down to get ahead, we build an unshakeable foundation of intuition and self-trust.
The Quick Shift: Watch Your "Shoulds"
One of the fastest ways Courtney helps people shift their perspective is by auditing their vocabulary. "Don't 'should' on yourself or anyone else." The word "should" is almost always shame-based. It creates mental defiance, guilt, and a feeling of being behind. Courtney teaches you how to challenge that perspective and replace shame with choice.
Her Advice for the Overwhelmed:
"Take a deep breath and as you exhale, imagine putting all your stressors and the labels you carry onto a table. Get them out of your mind and your body. Then, ask yourself: What do I need to do right now? What do I need to plan today for tomorrow? Whatever is left, make a list. Meet yourself exactly where you are and remember to give yourself grace."
