Why LiVE iT FWD?
"Forward became more than a direction. Forward became a decision."

People often ask me where the name LiVE iT FWD came from.
Some assume it came from a branding session. Others think it was created as a marketing slogan or a clever business name. The truth is far less glamorous and far more personal.
LiVE iT FWD was not created in a conference room. It was created through life.
More than twenty years ago, my first LLC was called LiVE FiT & Well. At the time, it made sense. My career centered around fitness, wellness, and helping people improve their health. As the years passed, however, I found myself gravitating toward a different phrase.
LiVE iT.
At first, it was simply a shortened version of the business name. Then something interesting happened. It stopped feeling like a business name and started feeling like a reminder.
- A reminder to show up.
- A reminder to be present.
- A reminder to stop waiting.
- A reminder to actually live it.
Over time, those two words became something I repeated to myself more often than I realized. When life felt exciting, LiVE iT. When life felt uncertain, LiVE iT. When life was beautiful, LiVE iT. When life was hard, LiVE iT.
The truth is that life has given me plenty of opportunities to practice those words. Like everyone else, I have experienced seasons filled with joy and seasons filled with disappointment. There have been moments when I felt confident and moments when I questioned everything.
I could not change the past. I could not undo mistakes. I could not control every outcome. What I could do was learn. I could reflect. I could grow. I could decide what happened next.
Forward became more than a direction. Forward became a decision.
Eventually, LiVE iT evolved into LiVE iT FWD. The addition of those three letters changed everything. It became a choice I could make regardless of circumstances.
Some days moving forward looks bold and exciting. Some days it looks like taking a risk. Some days it looks like giving yourself grace. Some days it looks like getting out of bed, taking a walk, drinking water, and doing the best you can with the day in front of you.
That philosophy eventually became the foundation for how I coach women. For years, I watched women start over. A new diet. A new workout. A new plan. A new promise. They would start strong and then life would happen.
The more women I coached, the more I realized something important: The problem was never a lack of motivation. The problem was that most women were trying to force themselves into systems that were never built for real life.
I wanted to create something different. Not another quick fix. Not another extreme plan. I wanted to create a place where women could build strength, improve their nutrition, prioritize their wellness, and develop confidence without shame, guilt, or extremes.
Because the older I get, the less interested I am in perfection. Perfection creates pressure. Perfection creates guilt. Growth is different. Growth allows room for mistakes. Growth allows room for being human.
Life is not about arriving at some perfect destination. It is about continuing to grow through every season. It is about learning from the past without living in it. It is about recognizing that forward is always available.
One workout. One meal. One conversation. One choice. One day at a time.
That is LiVE iT FWD. Not perfection. Just forward.
