    LiFT-HER April 11th Open House:
More Than an Open House. More Than an Open Studio.

    LiFT-HER Open House

When I announced the first LiFT-HER Open House, I thought I was inviting women to visit my studio.

What I realized was that I was inviting them into something much bigger.

For years, I have coached women inside my private studio space in Gretna. It sits near 192nd and Giles and has become one of my favorite places to spend my time. It is where women learn to strength train, build confidence, celebrate wins, work through challenges, and discover they are capable of more than they realized.

Yet I have always struggled to explain just how special the space feels.

I can tell people it is a private studio. I can tell people it is welcoming. I can tell people it feels different than a traditional gym. But words only go so far.

At some point, people simply need to experience it.

That is where the idea for LiFT-HER began.

I wanted women to walk through the doors and see the space for themselves. I wanted them to experience the equipment, the atmosphere, and the energy. I wanted them to see that strength training does not have to feel intimidating.

Most importantly, I wanted them to feel safe.

Safe to ask questions. Safe to be beginners. Safe to try something new. Safe to show up exactly as they are.

I wanted women to feel seen. I wanted women to feel heard. I wanted women to feel welcomed. I wanted women to know they belonged.

Because far too many women spend years believing they need to earn their place in a gym. They think they need to lose weight first. They think they need to get stronger first. They think they need to know what they are doing before they walk through the door.

The truth is much simpler. You belong before any of that.

LiFT-HER was also about something else that matters deeply to me. Women supporting women.

I knew I did not want the day to be solely about LiVE iT FWD Coaching or about me. I wanted to shine a light on other incredible women and businesses that are making a difference in our community.

Women who are building businesses. Women who are helping others. Women who are leading. Women who are creating. Women who are showing up and making an impact.

One of the greatest blessings of owning a business has been the relationships I have built with other women. Networking has changed my life. Collaboration has changed my life. Community has changed my life.

LiFT-HER became an opportunity to bring all of that together under one roof.

Strength. Wellness. Connection. Community. Support. Encouragement.

Not as separate ideas, but as pieces of the same puzzle. Because I have learned that lasting growth rarely happens alone.

Women need community. Women need support. Women need encouragement. Women need spaces where they can exhale and simply be themselves.

    That is what LiFT-HER became.

Not just an Open House. Not just an Open Studio. Not just a chance to see the equipment.

It became an opportunity for women to experience what LiVE iT FWD is truly about.

Strength without intimidation. Community without cliques. Support without judgment. A place where women can show up exactly as they are and know they belong.

Looking back, I could not have asked for a better first LiFT-HER.

Women connected. Women laughed. Women supported one another. Women discovered resources, businesses, friendships, and possibilities they may not have found otherwise.

And perhaps most importantly, women walked through the doors and experienced something I have always hoped to create.

A place where women can move FORWARD together.

That is LiFT-HER. And honestly, that is LiVE iT FWD.

LiVE BOLD. MOVE FORWARD. CREATE YOUR BEST LiF.
